Ministry of Youth and Sports Information The training program of the Department of Youth Development is one of the most important programs. The Youth Training Center, Department of Youth Development, Chuadanga Training Center started its activities in the fiscal year 2016-2017 with the aim of transforming the unemployed youth and young women of the country into skilled human resources through training. Since its inception, it has been providing three and one month residential training.

Vision

A unique institution to create self-employment and employment opportunities for unemployed youth and young women by providing quality training.

Poultry farming: Commercial broiler farming, hatching management, cock farming, layer farming, duck farming, commercial quail, layer, quail, breeder quail farming, turkey farming, domestic chicken farming and breed conservation, farm site selection, housing construction, breed/strain selection, brooding system, feeding system, vaccination, farm planning and preparation including presentation and identification and primary treatment management of various poultry diseases, disease control, biosecurity, preparation of post-mortem reports, deworming, vaccination programs.

Animal Husbandry: Dairy cattle rearing, cattle fattening, commercial goat and sheep rearing, housing construction, breed selection, feed management, care, farm planning and preparation including presentation and identification of various diseases of cattle and primary treatment management, disease control, biosecurity, preparation of postmortem reports, deworming, vaccination programs.

Agriculture and Horticulture: Agricultural nursery management, poultry farming, beehives, vegetable farming, mushrooms, fruit cultivation and strawberry cultivation, design and measurement, vegetable collection, packaging and marketing, farm planning and preparation including presentation and identification of various diseases and primary treatment management including report preparation and vaccination programs.

Fish farming management: Mixed farming of carp fish, water and food management, fish diseases and remedies, lumpfish and bagda shrimp farming management, crab farming (fattening, soft shell crab farming), hatchery management, rice paddy fish farming, cage fish farming, Pabda, Shing, Magur, Thai Koi, Monosex Tilapia, Ai, Chital, Kuchia, Bhetki, Shoal fish farming, indigenous small fish farming, aquaponics, Button Clean + Biofloc, fish farming in RAS system etc. and management and detection and first aid management of various diseases, including report preparation and vaccination programs.

Youth activities and life skills: Youth activities, strategies and rules for youth clubs/youth organizations, youth leadership, social problems and remedies, disaster preparedness and disaster management, work motivation and encouragement, employment, entrepreneurship development, business management, service activities of the Department of Youth Development. Drug addiction prevention, militancy prevention, HIV/AIDS, safe motherhood, reproductive health, water and sanitation, dowry practices, autism, sports and cultural activities.
